After surviving the first week of fall semester I decided a celebration was well needed. Then again, I use any excuse to get dolled up and walk around in 5 inch platforms.

I am wearing AA dress, Steve Madden platforms, Ann Taylor necklace, and MK watch.

Celebrated my Mom's birthday today and went out to eat with my family. Wore one of my favorite dresses with my favorite heels. I usually add a bold necklace or an arm full of bangles but I felt like keeping it simple.

 I recently purchased this dress from American Apparel and instantly fell in love with it. Plain jane but I love the way it hugs my body. Just waiting for Spring to come and I will be wearing this bad boy.

Dance Fever.

I had a girls night out last Saturday and we went to one of the best dance club's in Omaha. Platform heels were not an option, which made me choosing an outfit harder than it should have been. I bought this skirt in the Summer and it was my first time wearing it. Much needed night.

Non-traditional.

I saw this dress on this blog and fell in love with it. It is exactly what the title says...short and sweet. After telling myself I want to get married in a simple dress I knew a big church wedding would not be appropriate. Then a destination wedding came to mind. When I was younger , there was a dell desktop wallpaper on a tropical island with huts in the water. Every time I looked at it, I was mesmerized. From then I knew I wanted to get married on a beach.
